The most difficult courses at Atreenalin Adventure Park Saimaa involve moving at a height of up to 15 metres. In order to ensure a safe adventure, every adventurer must comply with instructions given by the staff.
In addition, adventurers must read, understand, and accept the safety instructions. We will do our bit to ensure the safety of every customer.
Equipment
You must wear a harness and helmet for your adventures on the park courses. Harnesses and helmets are made by known and trusted climbing equipment manufacturers, such as Beal, Petzl, and Camp.
You are always attached to a safety cable when climbing on the courses. Larger courses use the CLiC-iT system for this. The CLiC-iT carabiners can only be disconnected one at a time. In practice, this means we can avoid accidents in which both carabiners are disconnected and the user is left high up with no security.
Kids Land uses an even simpler safety system, in which the hooks for the safety wires never have to be detached when a child wants to move.
Structures
The park was built on the basis of a product concept by the French Amazon Adventure company. Amazon Adventure has been building nature-friendly adventure parks for over 15 years. Atreenalin Adventure Park Saimaa was the first Amazon Adventure park to open in Finland. There are now more than 70 parks worldwide constructed according to this product concept! Eco-Adventure Finland Oy is responsible for the adventure park concept in Finland.
